Remarkable. Exceptional. A God-send.
We have worked with Ray over time with two very different dogs. It’s difficult to describe just how good he is with the dogs and with us. He makes a remarkable connection with a dog, honoring each dog’s personality and understanding, on some very deep level, their quirks and what is getting in the way.
I think of Ray as wise dog whisperer with a commanding presence. There is nothing heavy handed about Ray’s work: he harnesses an energy connection with the animal and it is very, very powerful.
Ray is a great explainer of things and coach of people, too. Most recently, he’s been guiding our training with a street rescue that was a bit skittish with high energy and a strong prey drive. We weren’t certain we’d be able to let him off a leash! Now the pup skis and hikes and goes on long walks in the woods with us. He has freedom and we have peace of mind, a combo I wasn’t certain we’d reach with this puppy. We continue to work with Ray as our dog (and we) develop. I’ve learned a lot about psychology along the way.
